The Citizenship Test in Appenzell Innerrhoden

Requirements for Naturalization
You must have lived in the canton for at least 5 years and hold a settlement permit (C permit). The canton has no municipalities, only 5 districts.

Cantonal fees: CHF 1,000. Federal fees: CHF 100. No municipal fees. Total: CHF 1,100.

If You Don't Pass the Test
If you don't pass the test, you can retake it after 6-12 months.
