Welcome to Einbürgerungstests.ch (“the website”, “the app”, “we” or “our service”). These terms of service apply to our website (einbürgerungstests.ch) and our mobile app “Schweizer Bürgerrechtstest” (iOS). By using the website or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The website and app provide a learning platform for preparing for the Swiss citizenship test:

• Learning materials on Swiss history, politics, and culture
• Practice tests and exam simulations
• Progress tracking and personalized recommendations
• Canton-specific content for all 26 cantons
• Multilingual support (German, French, Italian, English)
• Gamification elements such as achievements, streaks, and XP (app)

Important note: This service is for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that using it will result in passing the official citizenship test.

3.1 Independent Subscriptions
Subscriptions for the website and the app are completely independent. A premium subscription on the website does not apply to the app and vice versa. Each platform requires its own subscription.

3.2 Free Version
The free version includes access to selected chapters, lessons, and one mock test.

3.3 Premium Subscription
Premium includes: all 1500+ questions, 26 cantons, unlimited mock tests, learning analytics, and flashcards.

3.4 Payment Processing
Website: Payments are processed through Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record). Dodo Payments’s payment terms apply.
App: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Prices may vary by region. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration.

3.5 Refunds
Website: Refund requests are handled according to Dodo Payments’s refund policy.
App: Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store policies.

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful, personal educational purposes
• Not copy or commercially use content without permission
• Not circumvent or manipulate security measures
• Not provide false information
• Respect other users’ rights

All content on the website and app, including text, graphics, logos, audio, and software, is owned by Einbürgerungstests.ch or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use.

The website, app, and all content are provided “as is” without any warranty. We make no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy or timeliness of content
• Uninterrupted functionality
• Passing the official citizenship test
• Compatibility with all devices

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service, including lost profits, data loss, or failed examinations.

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn how we protect your data.

We reserve the right to change the service, content, features, and prices at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the website or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You may delete your website account at any time or uninstall the app. We reserve the right to suspend access for violations of these terms without prior notice.

These terms of service are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland, unless mandatory law dictates otherwise.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
